What sets Naya Bermudez apart as a mentor?
Naya’s expertise in multiculturalism is her differential. Naya uses her extensive experience working at international companies and with people from different nationalities as a framework to build or strengthen your career path. As a fluent Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French speaker, Naya has produced a wealth of knowledge and a solid methodology for building an international career.
What’s the difference between mentoring and coaching?
Although mentors and coaches utilize similar techniques, the main difference is that the mentor has a more fluid and flexible influence over the mentee. The mentor advises, suggests, provoques thoughts, and asks chagellening questions aimed at guidining the mentee through his or her problems as a means to help the mentee find answers. A coach exercises stronger influence over the mentee's decisions, and may tell a mentee exactly what to do in a situation, and thus a coach bears some level of responsibility for a mentee's goals and outcomes.
Who is the mentoring for?
Recent graduates, career switchers, young managers, and anyone seeking to explore and define career goals highly benefit from partnering with a Mentor. Mentoring is also indicated for those who feel happy at their current jobs and are ready to take on new challenges and explore new ways to make an impact through their work.
What is the methodology used in the mentoring program?
The most important tool in a mentoring process is the Mentor’s life experiences and professional journey. Naya will use her path as a guide through which you can create your own path. In addition, Naya uses neuro-linguistic techniques to help you realize hidden treasures of your professional persona and analyses such aspects in connection with your short and long-term goals.
How long is the mentoring program?
The mentoring program is 8 to 10 weeks long, and sessions typically occur once a week. On-demand consulting services are 1h-long sessions usually booked in increments of two sessions.
